He completed his MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 1998 and MS - Orthopaedics from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 2002.
He has been awarded a Scholarship from the Association of Spine Surgeons of India in 2003 and also the Prof K.S. Masalawala Best Scientific Paper Award in 2016.
